Differentiation between solder resistance and solder aid
Solder resistance layer: solder mask, refers to the green oil on the board
part;Because it is a negative output, the part with solder mask is actually not coated
with green oil, but tinned and silvery white!
Soldering aid layer: paste mask is used for machine patch, which is corresponding to
the pads of all patch components. The size of paste mask is the same as that of
toplayer/bottomlayer, and it is used for opening tin leakage of steel mesh.
Key points: the two layers are on the tin welding, does not mean a tin, a green oil;So
is there a layer refers to the layer of green oil, as long as there is a layer on a
certain area, it means that this area is on the insulating green oil?I haven't come
across such a layer yet!The solder pads on the PCB we drew all have solder layer by
default, so it is not strange that the solder pads on the PCB we made are coated with
silver-white solder, without green oil.However, the routing part of PCB we drew only
has the toplayer or bottomlayer layer, without the solder layer, but the routing part
of PCB we made is coated with a layer of green oil.
The way to think about it is this:
1. The solder resistance layer means to open the window on the whole green solder
resistance oil, in order to allow welding!
2. By default, green oil should be applied to areas without solder resistance layer!
3, paste mask layer for patch packaging!SMT packaging uses: Top Layer layer, Top
Solder layer, Top Paste layer, and Top Paste layer, and Top Paste layer is the same
size, TopSolder is bigger than them.The DIP wrapper only uses the topSolder and
multilayer layers (after some disintegration, I find that the multilayer layer is
actually the toPlayer, bottomSolder, topSolder, and bottomSolder layers overlap), and
topSolder/bottomSolder is larger than the toPlayer/bottomSolder layer.
